Mildred Houston Holloran, 94, passed away Nov. 19, 2002, at Immanuel Lutheran Home in Kalispell, Mont. She was born Feb. 28, 1908, at Wood Lake, Minn., to Henry and Lulu Houston.

Mrs. Holloran and her family moved to Midland, Texas, and then to Kalispell, where she graduated from high school. She married James Holloran in 1936, moved to Prineville in 1938 and moved again to Wallowa in 1954. After Jim was killed in a logging accident in 1956, she moved back to Prineville where she was active in the Community Church, Crook County Garden Club, Christian Women’s Club and the Crook County Historical Society. She enjoyed gardening, travel, and visiting friends.

Funeral services were held in Kalispell, followed by burial at the C. E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery on Nov. 22, 2002.
