A popular grant program for training funds has closed its current application period. Managed by the Northeast Oregon Alliance with lottery dollars, the program provided flexible funding for employers and the self-employed in Wallowa, Union, and Umatilla counties for activities that addressed the needs of the region’s changing work force.
