A quilt made in an old fashioned “Churn Dash” pattern by 30-35 members of the Wallowa Mountain Quilters Guild will be given away this winter in a drawing to help Mischelle Hileman with expenses associated with her long hospitalization in Boise, Idaho.
The quilt will be on display at the Country Quilter on Main St. in Enterprise and raffle tickets will be available there, at UnCommon Thread, Savoie’s Specialties and from quilt guild members. Tickets cost $1 each or six for $5.
The name of the winner of the quilt will be drawn on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, 2003, at Community Connection center in Enterprise. The quilt bee of the guild will be serving at the senior meal site there that day.
