Rena Freels

Rena M. Freels, 78, of Enterprise, died at Wallowa Memorial Hospital Nov. 15, 2002. She was born Nov. 29, 1923, on Alder Slope to Basil Clifton and Francis Elizabeth (Rhoades) Terry.
Mrs. Freels was a homemaker who was a very active member of the Hurricane Creek Grange, Rebeka Lodge #119, Lioness, CowBelles, and the local MS Society. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, working in her flower beds and helping her husband on the family farm.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, John, at home; sons Marshall of Olympia, Wash., Harold of Cove, and Ted of Enterprise; brothers Lawrence Terry of Lostine and Wallace Terry of Elgin, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by a brother, Clifford Terry.
Memorial services took place at Hurricane Creek Grange Hall on Nov. 19, followed by private burial at Alder Slope Cemetery. Any memorial contributions may be made to a cancer fund, care of Bollman Funeral Home.
