Premier leadership, personal growth, and career success are what the Enterprise FFA members are actively focused on. Whether it be livestock judging to soil judging, extemporaneous speaking to creed speaking and public speaking, and much more, FFA offers a wide array of possibilities. That is quite possibly the reason it is the largest youth organization in the United States.

Enterprise Chapter and District President Wayne Polumsky leads the chapter with high expectations along with an optimistic attitude. Joining his reign are Megan Hopkins, vice president; Kelsey Lukens, secretary; Tim Gilbert, sentinel; Chelcee Noland, reporter; and Stephanie Schofield, adult advisor. Each officer is fully prepared for a successful year.

As the summer winds down and school begins, many members deserve recognition for all their time and dedication. Most were devoted to their livestock animals, judging, herdsmanship or plainly representing the chapter so efficiently at the Eastern Oregon Livestock Show (EOLS) and at the Wallowa County Fair. Enterprise FFA was represented by Jessie Morgan, Jimmy VanBelle, Tim Gilbert, Sara Schnetzsky, Casey Gomes, Chelcee Noland and Tyrel Clary at EOLS in Union during the first week of June.

In August, Jimmy VanBelle, Ashley Immoos, Tyrel Clary, Jessica Clary, Jessie Morgan, Sara Schnetzsky, Jacinda Mitchell, Joe Osborn, Jerod Osborn, Collin Cunningham, Emily Maasdam, Clay Freels, Tim Gilbert and Chelcee Noland were led by advisor Stephanie Schofield in their efforts at the Wallowa County Fair.Schofield won second place beef adult showmanship.

The group expects great things will happen this year with both greenhand and advanced members, along with the new officer team. They appreciate all the help and support they receive from the community and their advisor, and look forward to the coming year’s activities.
