CJD court tryouts scheduled Sept. 15

The 58th Chief Joseph Days Court tryouts for 2003 will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15 at Harley Tucker Memorial Arena in Joseph.

Tryouts are open to any Wallowa County high school girl in their senior or junior years. Applications can be picked up at all Community Bank branches in the county or at the Joseph Chamber of Commerce office in the Joseph Community Center.

Applications are due at the chamber office on Friday, Aug. 30. A meeting will be held prior to tryouts at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, at the community center. This is a mandatory meeting for all court candidates and ttheir parents.
