The Rotary Club of Wallowa County will sponsor the 21st running of the Lostine River Run on Saturday, July 6 in conjunction with the Lostine Flea Market. A one mile and 5K walk are also scheduled. The race features 1 mile, 5K and 10K competitions with all races starting at 9:00 a.m. Buses will transport all contestants to the starting areas from the registration area at the old Lostine school house.

Pre-registration is highly encouraged. Entry forms may be obtained from Wallowa Outdoors at 110 River Street in Enterprise.

Entry costs are $16.00, which includes a 100% cotton T-shirt or $8.00 without T-shirt for registrations received before June 28. Registrations received after that date are $18.00 with shirt and $10.00 without.

Pure silver dollars will be awarded for the best mens and womens times for each distance. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place ribbons will be awarded for all distances in ages 14 and under, 15-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over.

All proceeds benefit the Rotary Memorial Scholarship Fund.
